James Nesbitt's Ireland *

Summary:
James Nesbitt hosts a tv-program in which he talks about the great places in Ireland. In this episode he meets people who have the work-life balance just right. In Cork he goes to see the Ballyvolane House, a guesthouse run by the Green’s family whose 102 year old granny still lives with them. They grow their own vegetables and make their own rhubarb martini. On the cliffs of Moher he visits John Mc Arthy who has been surfing since the age of ten and made it into his profession. And in Gallway he meets the Roberts’ who work in their Connemara Smokehouse, where they  fillet, wash, dry-salt and smoke salmon and take a dip in the fifteen degree ocean, after work to freshen up.

Own opinion:
I really enjoyed watching this program. James shows the different places in an interesting way, he does not get into the details to profoundly, yet still gives you a good image of what to expect when going there. In my opinion Ireland is a great country, people are friendly and the scenery is beautiful. If the weather would be a bit better, it could be paradise. Especially when going outside of the big cities, one can really enjoy nature. I have not seen all of Ireland yet and seeing the places he went to, makes me want to go there soon again.
